Getting our collective start in the specialty coffee industry, we quickly bridged our knowledge and capabilities to tea brewing, craft sodas, sparkling water, and energy drinks. Position Summary We're hiring a Maintenance Technician III to cover 2nd shift at our Fullerton facility. This is a senior and independent position who can keep machines running with minimal supervision, as you'll be the senior tech on the floor, focused primarily on executing preventive maintenance while production is quiet, with the judgment to know when an issue needs to be escalated versus handled solo. We're looking for someone with 10+ years of hands-on experience in food and beverage manufacturing who's comfortable owning the equipment on their shift. Key Responsibilities Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production and packaging equipment — fillers, conveyors, PLC-controlled systems, and other automated machinery — using service manuals and technical documentation Own and execute the preventive maintenance schedule for assigned shift with minimal oversight, escalating only complex or cross-shift issues Perform electrical and pneumatic system diagnostics and repair, ensuring compliance with operational and safety requirements Monitor maintenance parts and equipment inventory; initiate purchase orders and maintain adequate stock to avoid downtime Maintain all tools and equipment in safe, working condition Ensure all work complies with food safety, GMP, and workplace safety standards Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced maintenance staff when shifts overlap Document all repairs, PM activity, and parts usage accurately for handoff to other shifts Qualifications 10+ years of maintenance/mechanic experience in food and beverage manufacturing (or a comparable regulated manufacturing environment) required Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability on production/packaging equipment, including PLC-controlled systems Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound judgment calls with minimal supervision Working knowledge of pneumatic systems and general facilities repair Ability to read and apply service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation Comfortable prioritizing and multitasking across competing maintenance demands Shift & Schedule This role is for 2nd shift. 2pm-10:30pm Interview Process Candidates will complete a mandatory mechanical and electrical aptitude test as part of the interview. All tools and testing equipment will be provided.
Pay:
$38.00 - $42.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
