In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of buildings and equipments to ensure a safe and functional environment. Your expertise will help keep facilities operating smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your varied skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting within apartment complexes Conduct spot repairs, including flooring, hauling, appliances, counter tops, minor painting, knicks and cracks, mechanical repairs etc. Carry out carpentry tasks such as installing or repairing doors, cabinets, drywall, and other interior fixtures to maintain building aesthetics and functionality. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for maintenance painting, drywall repairs, fixture installations, and other general repairs. Maintain facilities equipment & Supervise or assist with maintenance projects Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while providing excellent customer service to residents or tenants. Document maintenance activities accurately using schematics and work logs; communicate effectively with team members or supervisors regarding ongoing issues or project status. Support the training of junior staff or apprentices in proper maintenance techniques and safety procedures when required. Experience Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) within residential or commercial facilities. Competent in using hand tools, schematics and other diagnostic equipment for electrical work. Experience with building interior maintenance including painting, carpentry, drywall, cabinet repair, and fixture installation. Supervising or leadership experience preferred; ability to guide team members through complex repair tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English/Spanish to coordinate tasks effectively across teams or with residents/customers.
