Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Mechanic in Oxnard, CA for a direct hire opportunity with a growing food and beverage production operation. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting automated equipment, repairing production machinery, and supporting reliable plant operations. - Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyor systems, production equipment, and automated machinery.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and support quick resolution of mechanical and electrical issues.
- Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
- Complete industrial electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency.
- Work closely with Maintenance leadership and production teams to ensure smooth daily operations. Compensation and Benefits
Pay:
$25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.Job Type:
Direct hire.Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM.- Overtime available.

- 401(k). Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform maintenance and repair work on production equipment and conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery and automated production systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial electrical issues.
- Complete preventive maintenance and support equipment reliability initiatives.
- 3 to 5 years of maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial, manufacturing, production, or related environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience working with conveyor systems.
- Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship.
- Stable work history, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance leadership and production teams. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food processing, food and beverage production, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in an automated production facility.
- Interest in developing advanced troubleshooting skills and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
