Position Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This role requires expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and blueprints. Identify and implement equipment improvements to enhance performance. Install, modify, and repair wiring, circuits, and control systems. Perform equipment inspections, measure wear, and replace faulty components. Lubricate, clean, and install new or repaired parts as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory. Work with vendors, engineers, and production teams to resolve equipment issues. Train and support other technicians as needed. Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory policies. Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in welding, machining, and fabrication techniques is a plus. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and maintenance tracking software. Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair transformers, motors, relays, and switches. Familiarity with HVAC, waste treatment, and safety protocols. Physical Requirements Regularly required to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls and to talk or hear. Must be able to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to move around the facility and production floor. Physical endurance to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Strong listening skills to gather and process requests and respond accordingly.
