Maintenance Technician The Star Companies San Dimas, CA Job Details Full-time $23 - $28 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position summary This position will be responsible for the upkeep and monitoring of our manufactured home community of 185 spaces, its amenities, common area exteriors, park owned buildings, parking lots and common grounds. This position, located in San Dimas, CA, reports directly to the Community Property Manager. Position Performance Objectives:
Open the community amenities each morning and confirm they are clean, safe and ready for resident use. Clean and maintain the pool area each morning, including the pool deck, furniture, gates, and surrounding common areas. Assist with the general upkeep of the community grounds, common areas, buildings, and facilities. Replace and change out utility meters as needed. Complete routine maintenance requests and minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general property repairs. Regularly inspect the property and promptly report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and needed repairs. Pick up litter, remove debris, and help maintain a clean and professional appearance throughout the community. Prepare vacant spaces, units, and common areas as assigned. Assist with preventative maintenance and special property projects. Keep tools, equipment, maintenance supplies, and work areas organized and in a safe condition. Coordinate with the Community Manager regarding work orders, priorities, resident concerns, and completed assignments. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable community policies.
Key Competencies:
Be customer service oriented. Possess a good work ethic and uphold the company values. Be able to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, integrity, and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance. Be punctual, neat, and efficient. Possess a valid California Driver's License, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance. Read, write speak English fluently.
Physical Requirements:
Has the ability to bend, reach and lift boxes and office supplies up to 50 pounds. Performs simple tasks, such as power grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation. Requires ability to climb and work from ladder up to eight (8) feet in height.
Experience Requirements:
Possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum six months of related experience.

Hourly Compensation:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour, plus benefits listed above
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, lunch break 11 am to 12 pm
