Job Description
MarBorg Industries is seeking an MRF Maintenance Technician to keep our recycling and waste processing equipment running safely and efficiently. In this on-site role at our Santa Barbara facility, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, balers, screens, and related systems, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to reduce downtime. You'll follow strict safety standards, support equipment upgrades, and partner closely with operations in a family-founded, community-focused, environmentally responsible company that offers training and advancement opportunities. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MRF conveyors, balers, screens, and related equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime. Inspect equipment regularly and document findings, repairs, and parts used. Follow strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements. Collaborate with operations staff to schedule maintenance around production needs. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications. Maintain clean, organized work areas and maintenance shop. Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives within the facility.
