We are seeking a dependable, skilled maintenance professional with experience in apartment maintenance, unit turns (make-readies), and general property repairs. The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and takes pride in delivering quality work while providing excellent service to residents. This position offers the opportunity to work with leading apartment communities while utilizing your skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance. Key Responsibilities Complete apartment make-ready (unit turn) work to prepare vacant units for new residents. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, flooring, doors, windows, and locks. Diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Respond promptly to resident service requests and emergency maintenance calls with professionalism and excellent customer service. Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and community amenities. Repair and maintain appliances including refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, garbage disposals, washers, and dryers. Complete interior painting, drywall repairs, texture matching, caulking, and finish work as needed. Assist with maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the community, including common areas, grounds, and amenities. Inspect completed work to ensure apartments meet company quality standards prior to move-in. Work closely with property management and leasing staff to prioritize maintenance requests and vacant unit readiness. Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Accurately complete work orders using the property's maintenance software or mobile applications. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of apartment maintenance experience required. Experience completing apartment make-readies (unit turns) from start to finish.
