Job Description We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to support our fast-paced distribution center operations. The successful candidate will bring skills in plumbing , electrical , and controls troubleshooting , while maintaining a strong focus on safety and equipment uptime. Responsibilities include maintaining conveyors, dock equipment, HVAC, lighting, and plumbing systems essential to daily warehouse functions. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on: Conveyor systems Dock levelers and doors HVAC units Lighting and electrical systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems , including power circuits, breakers, motors, and control panels Complete routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems (e.g., sinks, drains, water lines) Assist with control systems troubleshooting, including sensors, relays, and basic PLC logic Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life Ensure all work meets OSHA safety standards and company policies (including Lockout/Tagout procedures) Record maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Respond promptly to maintenance requests from operations and production teams Support equipment installations and facility improvement projects Participate in safety meetings, audits, and ongoing training Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical school or vocational training preferred 3+ years of maintenance experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting Hands-on knowledge of electrical , plumbing , and mechanical systems Familiarity with control systems and basic PLC troubleshooting preferred Strong attention to safety, quality, and operational uptime Experience with equipment such as: Forklifts and dock equipment Automated conveyors and pallet wrappers Compactors and lighting systems Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in elevated or tight areas Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Certifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Forklift and Aerial Lift Certification Electrical or Plumbing Trade License First Aid / CPR Lockout/Tagout and Fall Protection Training Work Environment Fast-paced distribution center with exposure to: Loud machinery and moving equipment Elevated work platforms Temperature fluctuations PPE required and provided by the company Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing Pay Range USD $28.00/Hr -USD $35.00/Hr.
