Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing Join a Growing Manufacturer Where Your Skills Make a Real DifferenceAre you a hands-on Maintenance Technician who enjoys fault-finding, repairing equipment and keeping production running smoothly? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company looking to strengthen its maintenance team with a dependable, mechanically minded individual who enjoys variety and takes pride in solving problems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable business where you'll have the autonomy to take ownership of maintenance activities, help improve equipment reliability and play a key role in supporting daily production. What You'll Be Doing Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment and facility systems Developing and maintaining preventative maintenance (PM) schedules Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance on critical machinery Assembling, adjusting and maintaining production tooling and equipment Supporting machine shop operations and manufacturing processes Completing basic electrical repairs and mechanical fault-finding Welding and fabrication work where required Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation Assisting production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency Coordinating supplier collections and deliveries when required What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from Maintenance Technicians, Mechanical Technicians or Industrial Maintenance professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll ideally have experience with: Industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment Mechanical fault-finding and equipment repair Preventative and reactive maintenance Production machinery and machine shop equipment Welding, fabrication or mechanical assembly Basic electrical troubleshooting Working independently and prioritising workload effectively Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment Experience within precision manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, metalworking or general industrial manufacturing would be advantageous, although candidates from other manufacturing sectors are encouraged to apply.
