Grain & Co. is a growing deck and outdoor living company seeking experienced Deck Builders/Carpenters for full-time or part-time work. This position is specifically for individuals with hands-on deck-building experience. We are not looking for general remodelers who have limited experience building decks.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Applicants should have: Minimum 2 years of consistent, hands-on deck-building experience Strong general carpentry and framing skills Experience building decks and/or docks Experience installing composite decking Experience with picture-frame decking and finish details Experience working with hardwood or exotic decking materials is a plus Ability to properly measure, cut, frame, level, square, and finish deck projects Understanding of proper deck framing and structural installation practices Ability to work independently as well as with a crew

Having your own work vehicle and carpentry tools is strongly preferred. Applicants without a work vehicle must have reliable transportation to our designated meeting/location in the Cape Coral area.

COMPENSATION

Pay is based on demonstrated experience, skill level, craftsmanship, and ability to perform the work required. Qualified applicants may be asked to complete a paid working evaluation/trial period so we can evaluate experience and determine appropriate compensation. We are a small but growing company, and our goal is to build a dependable crew and provide consistent work opportunities for people who take pride in what they do.
