The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and documenting leaks in residential and commercial swimming pools, spas, and associated plumbing systems. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive leak detection inspections on swimming pools, spas, fountains, and water features. Utilize specialized leak detection equipment, including pressure testing equipment, electronic listening devices, dye testing, and underwater inspection tools. Conduct plumbing pressure tests and equipment evaluations. Inspect pool structures, plumbing systems, fittings, lights, skimmers, drains, and other components for potential leaks. Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, recommended repairs, and supporting photos. Communicate inspection results clearly and professionally with customers. Maintain leak detection equipment, company tools and vehicle. Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices. Make all necessary repairs from epoxy putty to skimmer replacements. Qualifications Required Experience in swimming pool leak detection, pool service, plumbing, or a related field. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to swim and perform underwater inspections. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Leak detection experience or relevant industry knowledge. Experience with electronic leak detection equipment. Knowledge of pool construction, plumbing, and hydraulic systems. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to kneel, bend, climb, and perform physical inspections. Comfortable entering pools and working around and under water. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
