This energetic position involves diagnosing and repairing pool systems, performing start-up procedures for new installations, and maintaining high standards of pool chemistry and equipment performance. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections of pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment to identify issues and perform repairs using hand tools and power tools. Perform start-up procedures on new or renovated pools, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely before opening to the public. Troubleshoot pool equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to maintain proper water quality standards. Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, brushing surfaces, and vacuuming pools to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety protocols during site visits or equipment transport. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about maintenance needs, repair timelines, and safety procedures. Requirements Proven experience with pool plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge of pool equipment, and familiarity with water treatment chemical handling. Strong understanding of pool maintenance practices including chemistry balancing, cleaning techniques, and equipment troubleshooting. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and outdoor equipment safely and effectively. Prior experience working at aquatic facilities or performing outdoor maintenance is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles responsibly. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
