We enjoy our close, supportive culture where each of us pull our own weight and all have each other's back. We have expanded our client base and are looking for hard working, accountable individuals to join our team and thrive at the best company in the industry. Position Details This position is for a well-experienced equipment repair tech in the pool industry. This person should be well-versed in basically everything outside of pool construction (but we can use you still if you specialize in construction/remodels), including but not limited to filters, motors, pumps, time clocks, chlorinators, salt systems, general plumbing, valves, automation systems, leaks, multiport valves, DE grids, sand filters, pool lights, pool ladders & handrails, transformers, heaters, stenner pumps, main drain covers, clogged lines, pool-related electrical work, etc. They should be able to perform these types of jobs on both commercial and residential pools. Here's how it works. Repairs come in all the time, mostly from existing customers but occasionally they come in from new customers. When a repair comes in, you will be given relevant information about the job which will include the customer's name, the address, a brief description of the work requested, gate codes and/or keys, and pictures/videos of the job. You will then need to provide your manager with two important numbers: 1. The amount you want to get paid for your labor. 2. The amount the job will cost in materials. Once you provide these two numbers to your manager, your manager will mark these numbers up and send a quote to the customer. Once the quote is approved by the customer, you will be instructed to complete the job. You will then notify your manager once the job is complete. You'll send your manager an invoice each week of all the jobs you completed that week. Your manager will then verify each job on your invoice and process it for payroll. You will be paid on a weekly basis as a 1099 employee. You will buy all materials from our distributors under the Phillips Pool Service, Inc. account. Hence, you will have no out-of-pocket expenses for materials required for the jobs that come in. On the rare occasion you do have out-of-pocket expenses for materials, you will be fully reimbursed by the company. The more jobs you complete, the more money you will make.
