Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with pumps, motors, filters, heaters, chlorination/salt systems, automation panels, plumbing, lighting, and related components. Perform repairs or replacements of faulty or worn parts, ensuring proper system functionality and safety. Install and configure new or replacement pool equipment, verifying correct operation and performance. Complete routine preventative maintenance on pool systems to extend equipment lifespan and reduce failure rates. Test and balance water chemistry when required as part of the repair process. Maintain accurate digital service records, documenting work performed, parts used, and labor through mobile apps or software. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding services performed, recommended repairs, and long-term maintenance needs. Respond promptly to service calls, ensuring efficient and high-quality repairs. Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations. Stay current with industry innovations, new equipment, and advanced repair techniques.
Qualifications Experience & Technical Knowledge:
An understanding of pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, chlorination & salt systems, electrical components, and basic plumbing is not required but is a plus!
Troubleshooting Skills:
Ability to learn how diagnose complex mechanical and electrical pool system issues on site with accuracy.
Driving Requirements:
Valid drivers license and clean driving record (3+ years) required; company vehicle provided.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, squat, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Soft Skills:
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, professionalism, and exceptional customer communication skills.
Independence:
Ability to manage a daily schedule, work independently, and complete multiple service tasks efficiently.
