Job Overview 10 Stars Property Management is hiring an experienced Residential Remodeling Technician to join our growing maintenance and renovation team. This is a hands-on position focused on residential remodeling, home renovation, property maintenance, handyman repairs, and rent-ready projects for single-family homes, apartments, and other residential rental properties. Work is performed in both vacant and tenant-occupied homes. We are looking for a dependable, experienced tradesperson who can independently complete a wide range of residential repairs and renovation projects. Strong candidates will have practical experience with drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, basic plumbing, light electrical maintenance, doors, trim, and general home repairs. If you take pride in your workmanship, know how to troubleshoot residential repair issues, and can complete projects efficiently from start to finish, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities As a Residential Remodeling Technician, you will: Complete residential remodeling, renovation, repair, and property maintenance projects Perform rent-ready and turnover repairs for rental properties Repair, patch, finish, sand, and texture drywall Prepare walls and surfaces for professional interior painting Complete interior painting and touch-up work Install and repair luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, and other flooring Perform kitchen remodeling and repairs, including cabinets, hardware, trim, shelving, and finish work Perform bathroom remodeling and repairs, including vanities, toilets, sinks, faucets, fixtures, and finish work Install and repair interior and exterior doors Install baseboards, molding, trim, shelving, and other finish carpentry Complete framing and general carpentry repairs Perform basic plumbing repairs involving toilets, sinks, faucets, drains, and plumbing fixtures Perform routine electrical maintenance involving outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures Complete punch-list, handyman, property turnover, and general maintenance tasks Troubleshoot residential repair concerns and recommend practical repair solutions Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment safely Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Protect tenant and owner property while completing repairs Document completed work with detailed notes and photographs Complete assigned projects efficiently while maintaining professional workmanship standards Required Qualifications 3+ years of residential remodeling, renovation, construction, handyman, or property maintenance experience Hands-on experience with drywall repair and finishing Experience with interior painting and surface preparation Experience installing or repairing flooring Working knowledge of carpentry and finish carpentry Experience with kitchen and bathroom renovation projects Working knowledge of basic residential plumbing repairs Working knowledge of routine residential electrical maintenance Ability to diagnose repair problems and determine practical solutions Ability to complete quality work independently with minimal supervision Ability to properly operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and common construction equipment Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Dependable, professional, organized, and reliable Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance or renovation team Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Must have basic hand tools Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials and equipment Ability to bend, climb, kneel, stand, and perform physical labor throughout the workday Ideal Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Residential remodeling Home renovation Property maintenance Apartment maintenance Rental property turns Rent-ready repairs Handyman services Kitchen remodeling Bathroom remodeling Drywall installation and repair Interior painting Flooring installation Carpentry and trim work Basic plumbing Light electrical maintenance Construction and residential repair Compensation & Benefits $18.00-$24.00 per hour , based on experience and demonstrated skill level Consistent full-time work Paid Time Off Employee discounts Performance bonus opportunities every three months Gas incentives Tuition reimbursement Professional development assistance Opportunities for additional responsibility and advancement Career growth opportunities into Lead Remodeling Technician, Crew Leader, and higher-level maintenance positions Why Join 10 Stars Property Management? 10 Stars Property Management manages residential rental properties and provides ongoing maintenance, repairs, renovations, and property improvements for the homes under our care.
