We are looking for a maintenance technician to join our maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals. Must have basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, welding, must be able to read a tape measure correctly. Must be able to follow directions. Familiarity with Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, high speed doors, and wrap machine repairs is desired but not a requirement.

Principle duties and responsibilities:

Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. performing preventative maintenance. handling basic repairs and maintenance. diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting then. repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.

Hours:

7pm-4am

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Proven maintenance experience. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. Ability to use commons tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, cutoff saws and wrenches. Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices. Experience performing routine maintenance. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Eye for detail. Professional presentation and attitude. Ability to maintain focus while working individually. Strong time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Familiarity with warehouse environment a plus. familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out procedures. Familiarity with confined spaces work and procedures. Familiarity of Motorized Equipment and the workings and operation of sed equipment. Proficiency in HVAC system, Electrical and Machine repair. Working Conditions:

This work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment In and Out side cold storage facility using lift and RF equipment. Some working temperatures @ subzero, some at 100+. May involve periodic lifting and carrying of items that may weigh up to 50 pounds. May work outside normal working hours and drive own vehicle for various projects.
