Maintenance Technician

Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure safety and operational efficiency Conduct mechanical repairs including welding, component replacement, and machinery adjustments to maintain production flow Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automation systems and implementing control modifications Execute residential painting tasks as needed for facility upkeep or renovation projects Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and asset history Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met and work is completed on schedule Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions Lead or support team efforts in manufacturing environments, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings with a focus on electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems Strong knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting procedures for complex equipment Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding techniques, and electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters Mechanical knowledge including motor repairs, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and HVAC systems Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance teams is highly desirable Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively across teams Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Experience in residential painting is a plus but not required Demonstrated customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving Join us as a Maintenance Technician and become an integral part of a vibrant team dedicated to operational excellence.
