Job Description
Maintenance Technician My Place Hotel - Meridian, ID About Us My Place Hotel-Boise/Meridian is an extended-stay hotel known for clean, comfortable rooms and dependable service. We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our property running smoothly and looking its best for guests. About the Role As our Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of the hotel's rooms, equipment, and grounds. You'll work closely with the front desk and housekeeping teams to make sure guest rooms and common areas are always in top condition. What You'll Do Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently Complete daily/weekly property inspections and address deficiencies proactively Maintain the exterior of the property, including grounds, parking lot, and building upkeep Perform minor repairs: drywall, paint, flooring, fixtures, and furniture Manage a preventive maintenance schedule for rooms and common areas Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies and tools Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance issues as needed Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with local codes What We're Looking For Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related hands-on trade (hotel/hospitality experience a plus) Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, bending, kneeling) Flexible availability, including occasional weekends and on-call emergency coverage A valid driver's license is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay, based on experience Consistent, full-time schedule A supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within the property How to Apply Interested candidates should apply in person at the front desk or submit a resume to 208-898-0009 or Meridianid@myplacehotels.com
