Job Overview This position is responsible for the simple maintenance and upkeep of the building and resident units, handling routine repairs and general facility needs to support a clean, safe, and well-functioning community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the building, common areas, and resident units Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff in a timely and courteous manner Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting repairs Assist with unit turnovers between residents, including repairs, touch-up painting, and general upkeep Maintain building exteriors, walkways, and grounds as needed Monitor and report larger issues to management Keep basic records of completed work and communicate status updates clearly Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyman work a requirement Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair techniques Comfortable lifting, standing, bending, and climbing ladders as needed for the role Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Friendly, patient, and respectful manner when working around senior residents Valid driver's license preferred
Pay:
From $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
