Responsibilities for this Position Carries out the policies and procedures of the company while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism and teamwork atmosphere as per standards of service. Resolves guest maintenance problems and assists with guest requests as needed. Be proficient in the repair and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment and be capable of performing tasks on their own after training. Assists other department staff with technical repairs pertaining to electrical and plumbing. Identifies problems that cannot be readily repaired and writes work orders for those problems. Communicates information to the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor and assists with solutions to problems as requested. Must have basic knowledge of EMS and life safety systems (with training). Accurately completes daily round sheets and identifies and reports major problems. Be capable of performing General Maintenance tasks and willing to do so as priority and workload dictates and under the direction of the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor. Performs other duties as reasonably requested by Management. Requirements Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit. High school diploma or equivalent. One year experience in a similar job in the hospitality industry preferred. Must be able to use hand tools. Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends. Must have excellent communication skills.
