SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
SPECIFIC
DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
: The Facility Maintenance Technician supports the overall condition and working order of the facility with the capability to work independently as well as with others in the company. This position requires a hands-on skilled Maintenance Director with knowledge in trouble shooting ability in a Metal fabricating environment. Enforce Company and OSHA safety programs. Familiarity with maintaining manufacturing initiatives such as "5S." Maintain a Preventative Maintenance program consistent with
ISO 9001
practices. HVAC basic function and maintenance. Performance management and improvement systems Assign and assist in performing special projects. Engage in renovations and upgrades. Computer knowledge to generate work orders, record keeping, Maintaining work orders in CMMS. Equipment installation skills, rigging, moving techniques. Provide installation of various power sources, activate and deactivate building alarms and take on responsibility in responding to alarm calls along with any other emergencies after and during regular work hours. Skills with electrical, electronic, hydraulic, Pneumatics, carpentry, and painting. Welding and basic metal fabrication Mechanical ability, mastery of hand and power tools. Machining or tool room experience. Oversee outsourced vendors activity, ensuring Sourcing policies and procedures are followed, and that the work is performed properly. Overtime is mandatory when 48-hour notice is given. Be safe, punctual, productive, communicative, and take pride and quality in your work. Forklift, manlift, overhead crane experience.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education and Training:
High School degree or college level education preferred.
Experience:
4 years of technical experience is preferred. US Citizen or Resident Alien Card

Basic Computer Skills
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Seeing:
Must be able to read reports, use computer, see in dimly lit/confined spaces, read a tape measure or other measuring device.
Hearing:
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers, identify machine sounds Standing/Walking Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling Lifting/Pulling/Pushing -Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Fingering/Grasping/Feeling
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Heated during winter. Ventilated during summer (factory, BAF, Exhaust fans, Open exhaust manifolds) Safe & Visual Factory Key-Code Access restrictions.
Work On-site Three breaks:
(1) 30-minute unpaid Lunch (2) 15-minute paid breaks Cafeteria for breaks and lunches (air conditioned and heated) Vending Shopfloor restrooms are maintained daily. Daily factory floor cleaning in aisles, during lunch. PPE Provided for manufacturing processes.
SCHEDULE
  • 8-10-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend and on-call availability for emergencies.
