Maintenance Technician - (Industrial Laundry Facility)

We're currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Hammond team. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping systems running smoothly and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, conveyors, presses, and ironers) Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Conduct equipment inspections and maintain detailed maintenance records Assist with machine installations and system upgrades Perform general facility maintenance (lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) as needed Respond promptly to equipment issues to ensure continuous operation Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities Experience with PLCs, motors, pumps, belts, bearings, and air systems preferred Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently on the third shift Commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment
