Job Description

Schedule:
12 hours per day on a 2-2-3 schedule What You'll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing machinery (conveyors, robots, furnaces, presses, and handling systems). Perform preventive maintenance (PM) to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. Support equipment start-ups, changeovers, and adjustments. Use a CMMS system to document work orders and maintenance activities. Follow OSHA safety standards , including proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to improve reliability and performance. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas aligned with 5S practices. Support NSG's
ISO14001
environmental compliance programs. Required Qualifications Technical degree OR 3-5 years of industrial maintenance technician experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude:
gears, motors, drives, bearings, power transmission.
Basic electrical knowledge:
sensors, relays, controls, VFDs, motors. Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Ability to perform logical, data-driven troubleshooting. Comfortable using basic computer systems and CMMS software. Strong communication skills and willingness to work on a multidisciplinary team. Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills Rockwell PLC-5 or Logix PLC troubleshooting experience. Ability to read ladder logic for diagnostics. Experience with Fanuc or ABB robotics (fault recovery, basic programming). Advanced troubleshooting of automation equipment and multi-axis systems. Welding experience (MIG/ARC). Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and moving equipment.
