Job Description
Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at commercial properties. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, respond to tenant service requests, and ensure facilities meet safety and compliance standards. Collaborating with property and facility managers, you'll coordinate vendors, maintain accurate work orders and logs, and support energy-efficient, sustainable operations while delivering responsive, client-focused service in a performance-driven environment. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems Respond to and resolve tenant and client service requests promptly Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, code, and compliance standards are met Use CMMS or work order systems to document work, parts used, and time spent Support energy-efficient and sustainable building operations Coordinate and oversee external vendors and contractors as needed Troubleshoot building equipment issues and perform general repairs Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Assist facility and property managers with maintenance planning and projects Provide on-call or after-hours support as required by the site Required Skills HVAC maintenance and repair Basic electrical troubleshooting Plumbing systems maintenance Building automation systems Preventive maintenance planning Use of CMMS/work order systems Reading technical drawings and schematics Safety and OSHA compliance Carpentry and general repairs Vendor and contractor coordination
