Job Title:
Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician Job Description This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will support production by minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient facility. Openings are available on 2nd and 3rd shift, with every other weekend work on 1st shift. Responsibilities Perform electro-mechanical maintenance on all plant equipment and facilities, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems. Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace components on industrial manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Read and interpret electrical schematics to identify issues and determine effective repair strategies. Troubleshoot PLC systems, including platforms such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens, to resolve control and automation issues. Apply maintenance knowledge to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize waste across the facility. Respond quickly and effectively to machine downtime events, working with a strong sense of urgency. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to extend equipment life and prevent unplanned failures. Conduct electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on high-voltage systems, including 480V and 3-phase power. Carry out mechanical maintenance, including fabrication, welding, and mechanical repairs as needed. Essential Skills At least 5-7 years of experience successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment. Proven experience in industrial maintenance, including both electrical and mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing setting. Strong electro-mechanical maintenance skills, including work on complex industrial machinery. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems, including high-level electrical work up to 480V. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Reading, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
