Tex Tech Industries in North Monmouth is hiring, we are looking for candidates who want to be part of a growing and evolving leading global manufacturing facility. Currently hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our manufacturing facility running at peak efficiency in a 24/7 manufacturing facility. SKILLS Proven skills in mechanics, millwright, carpentry, plumbing, welding, and fabrication. Repair, maintenance and installation of production equipment, plant services equipment, buildings and other plant facilities. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by preventive maintenance. Ability to understand and follow operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. The applicant must have or be willing to obtain a Maine State High Pressure Boiler License (Tex Tech will pay for the process and once completed will receive a pay increase). Must have the ability to work independently, possess strong mechanical and carpentry knowledge as well as general knowledge of preventive maintenance, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC and unit turnover work. Must have basic hand tools, be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders up to 20 feet and work in tight spaces. Experience with computers is a plus.
