DESCRIPTION
Aids in the installation, maintenance, repairs of all furnaces, secondary equipment & physical structures. Conducting and maintaining the Preventive Maintenance System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment preventative / predictive maintenance Troubleshoot and repair problems with supervision Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, welding, & pipefitting Safety training
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None - unless assigned to maintenance department.
QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. General maintenance skills, Familiar with industrial maintenance is a plus. Ability to read prints. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required. One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete Maintenance Request Forms.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Hi-lo license. Confined Space permits and or training.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Complete Client course on confined space and lockout.
