Job Description

As a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician the shift starts on Monday night @ 9pm with the work week ending 7am on Friday morning. Working hours 9pm-7am OT available
PURPOSE/SCOPE
This person's primary responsibility will be mechanical, preventative, building and grounds maintenance.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with scheduling and prioritizing preventative and routine equipment, facilities, mechanical, and custodial maintenance tasks. Perform preventative maintenance in all areas (including stamping, tool room, assembly, and facilities). Perform emergency repairs. Troubleshooting all problems of mechanical (shafts, cams, gears, etc.), electrical, drives, servo motors, HVAC, and PLCs. Assist with installation and/or moves of equipment throughout the facility. Submit requests to order machinery parts or components from outside sources. Assist the Maintenance Manager in maintaining a database of all machine parts by press size. Renovation projects as needed. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent experience. High degree of mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret building floor plans, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Proficient PC skills, email, ERP systems. Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. Ability to work independently and self-directed. Must have own basic tools (specialty tools provided). Must have valid drivers license and be able to attain hi-lo and man-lift license (training provided). Able to work from heights
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Possess knowledge of servo drive controls and motors. Possess knowledge of electrical applications. Strong inventive and analytical skills. Strong mechanical skills. Knowledge of manufacturing and metal stamping process.
REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL & BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
Good organizational and interpersonal skills. Regarded as creative, a self-starter, and adaptable. Ability to thrive in a team environment
