Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building interior systems, including HVAC units, plumbing, electrical equipment, and facilities infrastructure. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks to maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of the property. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automated systems and ensure proper operation of building controls. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including leak detection and fixture servicing. Support facilities equipment maintenance by replacing hand tools, updating schematics, and ensuring all systems meet safety standards. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or staff to resolve issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, and building interior upkeep. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, electrical equipment repair, welding, carpentry, painting, and plumbing system maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, CMMS software, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and ohmmeters. Ability to read technical diagrams and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues independently. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and interact with team members or residents. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks during busy weekends while maintaining high-quality standards. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
