Duties Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute repair and installation projects Perform maintenance and repairs on building structures, fixtures, and equipment using power tools and manual tools Conduct erosion control measures to prevent soil degradation during construction or landscaping projects Implement safety regulations in accordance with OSHA standards, including respiratory protection and workplace safety protocols Handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while adhering to industrial construction safety standards Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal operation and longevity Assist with climbing tasks such as working on ladders or scaffolding to access elevated areas safely Skills Strong ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings for precise project execution Extensive knowledge of erosion control techniques and environmental safety practices Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair and power tool operation Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA safety standards and respiratory protection requirements Physical strength for heavy lifting, manual handling, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions Industrial construction experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently in demanding settings Excellent understanding of implementing safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment
