This position is responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring facility systems remain safe, reliable, and compliant with applicable regulations.

Shift:

Mon-Fri- 5:15 AM to 1:30 PM Must be strong in electrical Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain building electrical systems, including motors, control panels, alarm systems, lighting, and related equipment. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, outlets, switches, and other electrical components. Install, test, and troubleshoot facility equipment, machinery, and utility systems to ensure proper operation. Assist in planning maintenance projects by estimating labor, materials, and equipment requirements. Maintain adequate inventory levels of replacement parts, maintenance materials, tools, and supplies; coordinate purchasing when needed. Monitor and inspect work completed by outside vendors and contractors to verify quality, safety, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair documentation, service records, and inspection reports. Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests, equipment breakdowns, and emergency repair situations. Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Provide guidance and assistance to maintenance personnel or team members as required. Qualifications Experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related field. Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, lighting, and general building maintenance practices. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with safety regulations and building/electrical codes. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to urgent maintenance needs. Proficient in maintaining service records and work order documentation. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or relevant certifications preferred. Preferred Experience Commercial, manufacturing, industrial, healthcare, or institutional facility maintenance experience. Experience working with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, and building automation systems. Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and CMMS/work order systems.
