Job Description
The Quick Fix Hero is a growing handyman and remodeling company serving homeowners, landlords, and property managers in the St. Louis area. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Handyman / Remodeling Helper to work directly with the owner on repair, maintenance, remodeling, and property-turnover projects. This is a field position for someone who takes pride in clean work, shows up on time, communicates well, and wants to build real trade skills. You will assist with a variety of residential jobs and may take on independent tasks as you prove your ability. What you'll do Assist with drywall repair, painting, caulking, trim, doors, windows, flooring, and light carpentry Help with bathroom, kitchen, and interior remodeling work Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks under direction Load, unload, organize, and care for tools and materials Keep work areas clean, protected, and professional in customers' homes Pick up materials from Home Depot, Menards, and suppliers when needed Communicate professionally with the owner, customers, and property managers Take jobsite photos and help document completed work Follow jobsite safety procedures and company standards Learn new skills and work toward handling jobs independently Qualifications Residential construction experience with a focus on remodeling, drywall, trim carpentry, and finish work Proficiency using hand tools and power tools; ability to handle materials handling and site organization Experience with carpentry installation (doors, cabinetry), drywall installation/finishing, flooring, painting, caulking, and basic plumbing/electrical tasks Ability to perform minor repairs, maintain safety protocols, and manage busy job sites; strong attention to detail Reliable, self-motivated, with good communication and problem-solving skills; valid driver's license preferred
