Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise maintenance staff and provide leadership to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents. Conduct residential painting as part of facility upkeep when required. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various machinery and equipment. Electrical experience is required, including familiarity with using an ohmmeter for diagnostics. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a maintenance setting. Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus, enhancing understanding of equipment operation within an industrial context. Proficiency in English is necessary for effective communication with team members and clients.
