Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Cleaning Technician and become the essential expert behind sparkling, safe, and well-maintained swimming pools. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring pools are clean, chemically balanced, and functioning optimally. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for pool users, while your proactive approach keeps equipment running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing walls and floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards Conduct regular water testing to ensure proper chemical balance, adjusting pH levels and adding chemicals as needed for safe swimming conditions Inspect pool equipment such as filters, pumps, heaters, and chlorinators; identify issues and perform or coordinate repairs using hand tools and power tools Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and equipment status Troubleshoot common mechanical problems with pool systems and perform minor repairs or escalate complex issues to service technicians Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand pool systems and components is a plus Proficiency in pool maintenance practices including chemical balancing and water quality management Previous service technician experience is preferred to ensure efficient problem-solving skills, but not required. Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks independently while adhering to safety standards Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high-quality pool environments This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build expertise in pool care while delivering exceptional service.
