Shift Maintenance Tech Location:

Salisbury, NC Marathon Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic I for 2nd shift . If you enjoy hands-on work, keeping equipment running safely, and supporting a team through preventative maintenance and repairs, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule:

Mon-Thurs, 3:00 PM - 1:00

AM Pay:

Starting at $22/hour (may increase based on experience) + shift differential What you'll do: Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, tools, and building systems Assist with repairs for woodworking machinery, infeed/outfeed systems, hand tools, and forklifts using diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer specifications Order supplies and parts as needed Maintain records of repair and maintenance activities Follow established safety rules and procedures; keep the work area clean and organized Participate in safety, continuous improvement (CI), and other programs/meetings Prepare reports as required Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in machine repair/maintenance Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, and welding Knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations Demonstrated working knowledge of hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures and practices Must be at least 18 years of age Ready to apply?
