Lincoln , NE Temp to hire Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and weekly pay options Job Description The Apartment Make Ready Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic improvements. This role plays a key part in ensuring apartments meet quality standards, safety requirements, and move-in timelines. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced property environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including cleaning, repairs, and touch-ups Perform basic maintenance such as drywall repair, painting, flooring, plumbing, and electrical work Inspect units to ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Replace fixtures, appliances, hardware, and perform minor carpentry as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous apartment maintenance or make-ready experience preferred General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and appliance repair Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions
