  • Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Technician
  • As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the guest experience by ensuring that all hotel facilities and systems operate efficiently and safely.

You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and resolving them in a timely manner. Your work will contribute significantly to maintaining the hotel's reputation for quality and excellence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's physical structure and essential equipment, identifying any maintenance needs.

Perform repairs and maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, painting, and carpentry. Respond promptly to guest requests and service calls to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues. Maintain documentation of all maintenance and repairs performed, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Collaborate with management and other departments to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks and projects. Assist in the procurement and inventory management of maintenance supplies and materials. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest technologies and maintenance practices Operate the hotel shuttle safely and efficiently, providing transportation to and from the airport as needed. Ensure the shuttle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled. Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, ensuring a pleasant experience.

  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in maintenance work, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.

Strong understanding of general maintenance procedures, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and technical issues efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and team members. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
