Maintenance Associate Location:

This role supports a well-maintained, ultra-luxury residential building in Summit, NJ, with a strong emphasis on service, presentation, and attention to detail. The Maintenance Associate will work as part of a professional, hands-on maintenance team in a well-maintained residential environment. The position offers a mix of daily building maintenance, apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and resident service. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of maintenance experience; residential experience preferred Experience with work orders, apartment turns, painting, cleaning, and preventative maintenance Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar software Strong communication and customer service skills Organized with good time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable and punctual; able to work overtime and participate in rotating on-call coverage Ability to work in varying environmental conditions Responsibilities Complete maintenance service requests and routine repairs in a timely manner Perform apartment turns, including make-ready, cleaning, painting, and general repairs Conduct daily inspections and report maintenance, safety, security, and cleanliness issues Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, door hardware, and general building repairs Maintain common areas, amenities, grounds, building exteriors, and parking areas Assist with preventative maintenance, snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance Maintain inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies Document work orders and maintenance activities using applicable software Provide professional customer service to residents and building staff Assist with other maintenance projects and duties as needed The above salary range represents Cobalt's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards package this client provides to employees.
