Job description: Now hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks at a large apartment complex in Williamstown NJ.

Physical Requirements:

Examples include but are not limited to: snow shoveling/ice removal, frequent bending and/or stooping, standing, reaching, climbing, kneeling, crawling, grasping and manipulation of tools, parts and materials, lifting and moving heavy objects and performing other essential maintenance tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

Must be willing & available for emergency on call rotation to answer after hour emergency service calls Ensure all service requests and repairs are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies at appropriate levels Pick up debris around property Empty out Apartments Communicate effectively with residents, fellow employees, vendors and supervisors Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features as required to minimize liability concerns; and to ensure that physical condition of the community is maintained Work with maintenance team to ensure excellent curb appeal at all times Maintain accurate records Perform other maintenance/repair work as directed by Maintenance Supervisor Snow and ice removal Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required Must be able to diagnose problems with and assist with repair of the following: Major appliances Basic-Intermediate plumbing Basic-Intermediate electrical Drywall installation, repair and finishing General carpentry Painting Ice/snow removal

Other Requirements:

Valid Driver's License Reliable transportation required. Vehicle will be used to run maintenance calls due to the size of the complex. Truck preferred but not required

From $22.00 per hour
