Come join an established company in Paterson, NJ - Good pay & benefits. Direct hire . Manufacturer of thermoformed food packaging seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician. This is a direct hire (no staffing agencies involved). Working under highly experienced personnel in a safe industrial environment, you will perform preventative maintenance tasks, make general repairs, assist in projects (machine installation, pest control, building and property repairs, etc.). We will train, supply all tools and uniforms. Shifts are 8 hours, 7:00am to 4:00pm with a 30 minute lunchbreak (to start). Monday thru Friday. Additional Saturday work possible from 7am-12pm. After 3 months of training shift changes from 9:00am to 5:30pm. You must have a strong work ethic and references that will confirm this. Two years experience in manufacturing is required. Must be mechanically inclined and able to work in a fast paced environment. While a high school diploma or GED are preferred these are not requirements.
