Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend emergency response as needed. Position Summary Reporting to the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the community's buildings, grounds, and mechanical systems. This is a hands-on position requiring excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional service to residents. Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain the community boiler system during the heating season. Perform general building maintenance and repairs. Complete light plumbing and electrical repairs, including changing fixtures, smoke detectors, and bleeding radiators. Perform basic carpentry and painting. Maintain common areas, offices, and grounds in a clean and safe condition. Assist with seasonal maintenance, including supplemental snow and ice control. Safely use ladders and perform work at heights when required. Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed. Perform other duties assigned by the Property Manager. Qualifications Black Seal Boiler Operator License (Required) Minimum of 2 years of facilities or building maintenance experience High school diploma or equivalent Valid New Jersey driver's license Working knowledge of building maintenance systems and repair techniques Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work well with residents and coworkers Compensation & Benefits $27.00 - $33.50 per hour , based on experience Health benefits Stable, full-time employment Professional and supportive work environment
