Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Floor Technician and Janitorial Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, ensure high standards of sanitation, and supervise janitorial staff to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your leadership will be vital in coordinating cleaning tasks, managing safety protocols, and delivering exceptional service across commercial or institutional facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team while ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation. Duties Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff to ensure efficient completion of cleaning and sanitation tasks Oversee daily cleaning routines including industrial cleaning, and general custodial duties Ensure compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards across all cleaning activities Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and usage Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness, safety adherence, and quality of work Respond promptly to special cleaning requests or emergency sanitation needs from clients or management Experience Proven custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings Supervising experience with team management responsibilities in a cleaning or hospitality environment Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safety regulations Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and methods is preferred Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks and customer service interactions Prior experience in managing sanitation standards within healthcare, hospitality, or similar sectors is a plus Join us to lead a dedicated team committed to maintaining pristine environments!
