Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and appliance systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge, troubleshoot complex systems, and contribute to the smooth running of our operations every day. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances and mechanical components following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues related to HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment delivery as needed. Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in construction or renovation projects when required. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately. Knowledge of HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and ventilation systems. Mechanical knowledge related to kitchen equipment maintenance and appliance installation. Experience working with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus. Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and problem-solving under pressure.
