Job Description
We're looking for someone who takes pride in fixing things—not someone who just wants to check boxes. Suburban Management is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our apartment communities safe, comfortable, clean, and running at their best. If you're the person friends and family call when something breaks, you enjoy figuring out how things work, and you like seeing the results of a job well done, we want to meet you. What You'll Be Doing Every day is a little different. You'll be handling a variety of maintenance needs, including:
- Responding to resident maintenance requests and completing work orders
- Plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
- Basic electrical repairs
- Drywall repair, painting, patching, and general carpentry
- Appliance troubleshooting and replacement
- HVAC troubleshooting and basic maintenance
- Preventative maintenance
- Inspecting apartments, common areas, mechanical rooms, and grounds
- Helping maintain the overall appearance and condition of our communities
- Working with the Maintenance Manager and property management team to prioritize work
- Occasionally responding to emergency maintenance situations We're Looking for Someone Who More than anything, we want the right attitude.

- Able to work safely and follow company procedures
- Experienced in apartment maintenance, residential construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field You don't have to know everything.
- Work with an established and growing property management company
