Job Description

The Maintenance technician is responsible for: carpentry, painting, event set up and take downs, miscellaneous work ensuring all building property is properly maintained; furniture moving, arrangement, placement of equipment, etc.; carrying out frequent checks of all areas, reporting any faults using the correct procedure; ensuring the safe, correct and economical use of equipment and cleaning materials. Performing other maintenance duties, as needed.
Pay:
$25 per hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

  • Qualifications for Internal Candidates Candidates must have an active state-issued driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • At least one (1) year experience supporting mission critical environments
  • Hands on electrical or mechanical skill, and competence in the area of non-expertise
  • Operate and perform both routine and emergency service on a variety of state-of-the-art critical systems

Event setup and tear down Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. Respond effectively to all emergencies. Prepare and submit to management summary reports listing conditions found in the performance of assigned work, and recommend and/or suggest action to be taken. Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping, safety of work areas and company vehicle. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes or Laws. Must be willing and able to support any afterhours building related activity as required. Attend periodic training seminars, as a group or solo with an on-line computer, on or off site. Safe guard all company and clients assets and electronic devices in your possession.
