Duties :

Extensive knowledge in the performance of repairing, troubleshooting and installation of refrigeration, plumbing and/or HVAC systems Use of a variety of hand and power tools in construction and maintenance of school facilities Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner using a computerized work order system Snow removal as needed with the use of a plow truck Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks efficiently

Knowledge of construction and maintenance materials and methods Ability to use tools effectively Ability to follow oral and written instructions Physical strength and agility Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various refrigeration and HVAC systems Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively Excellent problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve maintenance issues Good communication skills to interact with staff and contractors effectively Attention to detail to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be fingerprinted as part of the onboarding process

Education or Training:

Graduation from a vocational or trade school and/or One year of experience in performing routine maintenance tasks such as repairing/install refrigeration and HVAC systems
