Position SummaryAs a Utility team member, you will play an essential role in supporting daily manufacturing operations across our facility. From preparing materials and finishing machined components to maintaining equipment and assisting with facility upkeep, you'll help ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Success in this role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to support multiple departments. Your contributions help maintain an organized, efficient manufacturing environment while supporting the production of precision products used in demanding industries around the world.

Key Responsibilities Deburr and finish machined components using files, sandpaper, grinders, and buffing wheels. Prepare parts by degreasing and sandblasting according to work instructions and specifications. Operate automatic, band, and horizontal saws to cut raw materials based on operation sheets. Transport materials throughout the facility using hoists and tow motors while supporting inventory accuracy. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and assigned facility assets. Complete daily utility checklists, janitorial responsibilities, and general facility upkeep. Maintain a clean, organized work area by following 5S principles. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Support multiple work centers and departments to help maintain efficient production flow. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or
GED. 0-2
years of relevant work experience. Ability to read and follow work orders, operation sheets, and blueprints. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, counting, and recording measurements. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Manual dexterity and the ability to safely operate shop equipment. Dependable with a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience. Experience with deburring or finishing machined components. Experience operating band saws, horizontal saws, hoists, or tow motors. Physical Requirements Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and sit as needed for machine operation. Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent reaching, grasping, handling, and manipulation of parts, tools, and equipment. Occasional climbing and balancing while performing facility maintenance tasks. Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions when outdoor work is required. Ability to safely operate hand tools, shop equipment, band saws, and horizontal saws.
