Feed Mill Maintenance - 1st shift

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Feed Mill Maintenance Technician to join our team in Fort Recovery.

SHIFT HOURS

Monday through Friday 6:00am-4:30pm with occasional Saturdays.

STARTING HOURLY RATE

Commensurate with experience

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided for this position.

Job functions include:

Following all biosecurity guidelines to maintaining disease free facilities. Assisting in eliminating potential safety hazards from the workplace. Working with manager to set repair priorities and follow through to see that necessary repairs are made. Performing all related preventative and corrective maintenance functions as assigned Being willing to improve skills through training, off-site classes and attain certifications as needed Must be 18 years of age Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record Must have adequate knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work Must have Millwright skills including but not limited to: welding, metal fabrication, maintaining old & installation of new equipment.
