ASAP Looking for a rewarding career in facility maintenance? Join our dynamic team in Cleveland as a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician and make a difference every day. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting essential machinery and mechanical systems within our facility. You'll work closely with the maintenance team to ensure smooth operations, safety, and efficiency across all areas of our plant. What You'll Do As a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for
  • Installing, dismantling, maintaining, and adjusting machinery and mechanical service equipment
  • Analyzing mechanical and electrical issues, planning corrective actions to maximize uptime and product quality
  • Reviewing circuits, wiring diagrams, and schematics to repair and calibrate electronic systems
  • Performing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing duties, including moving, repairing, and installing machinery
  • Troubleshooting equipment with blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals, then executing repairs
  • Conducting preventative maintenance checks on various systems and testing equipment after repairs
  • Executing equipment start-ups and shut-downs in compliance with safety procedures and OSHA Lockout/Tagout requirements
  • Advising machine operators and supervisors about potential hazards and malfunctions
  • Supporting team efforts by completing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training in electrical, electronics, HVAC, hydraulics, or welding preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, tow motors, and pallet jacks
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and respond to on-call breakdown repairs
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for domestic travel as needed
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills
