Mar-Bal, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for 2nd or 3rd Shift at our AltraSet material mixing and compounding facility. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility failures Maintain machine and facility preventative maintenance schedule Report and correct safety issues as directed Must be able to lift, push or pull 70 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must maintain fork lift license Perform facility grounds maintenance as needed Update, rebuild, and relocate equipment Look for and suggest ways to improve equipment and processes Work in a safety conscious manner Maintain good housekeeping Maintain inventory of supplies and request reorder as required Communicate machine and system issues across shifts Must be able and willing to work weekends and over time as needed

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Understands who our customers (other plant employees) are and what good customer service means Experience in basic machine/facility troubleshooting and repair Must have proven basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and electrical. Welding and torch use is a plus General understanding of preventative maintenance processes and procedures Good attitude toward training and learning new skills Skilled in the use of hand and power tools Strong time management skills Ability to maintain focus while working individually Starting wage within the posted pay range will be dependent on the applicant's work experience and the determined level of ability during the interview process.

Pay:

$24.25 - $38.00 per hour
